The theme was well conceived and implemented. So whenever you visit, there’ll be something new for all. They keep on changing the shows at different times of the year. The design and details were top-class and the crew put in an inspired performance. The playhouse scared the daylight out of my wife. Special mention of the half man, half wolf character lying on a bed. Its que line stage show was pretty cool and one of a kind as well. It featured water, which I have not seen in any other haunts. I was impressed with the scenery and attention to details. It was my first visit and it was simply awesome. Attention to details in sets were commendable. Actors’ costumes were perfect and the particular demented theme was on point. The Carl’s Playhouse moved away from the typical clown theme and included new scares and actors. New sets, scares, and creepy characters made it a wonderful experience for me and my friends. The haunt had changed a lot since my last visit a year back. Please leave your under teens at home.ĭark Hour is up there with Netherworld in Atlanta and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. The haunt was epic scary!! Definitely in some parts I was scared out of my mind. If you want to know and feel the exact way then pay a visit. When you encounter your utmost fear it’s just something you have to experience yourself, beyond words.
I felt the scares freeze my blood and I almost died out. Its hell scary and that I could hear my heart beat clearly in that screaming house. One of the best haunted houses I have ever been to. Reasonably priced and good entertainment throughout. The actors are committed to their roles and peerless scares. As we enter it was like a life and death game. The makeup was so realistic that we forget it’s all part of Halloween. The entire team worked really hard providing the best scare of a life along with tons of fun and lots of unforgettable memories to their customers. I'm interested in their scary Christmas show.
The sets are unbelievable, it's both scary and interesting. I highly recommend going to Dark Hour every year because they're one of the best i've been to! Scare Factor: Without spoiling anything else, the actors and costume designs alone you can tell they're really giving it their all this year. One area was a snowy abandoned village in the woods that was pretty amazing. The set designs were amazing, making you feel like you're traveling from one nightmare to the next into different worlds. I recognized some elements but they have added a lot more areas and themes to it! The stories of the 13 witches and encountering all of them with surprises along the way was very rich and detailed. Instead they have devoted all resources to the main attraction. In the past there's usually another quick haunt to walk through that is modeled after a hospital, but that's not there this year. This year definitely lived up to my recommendation to our friends that went with us. Last Saturday my Wife and I went with another couple to what was my 3rd time that I have been to Dark Hour in the last few years. The decor, actors, animatronics, staff, etc. I've also done 3 of their VIP tours and the craftsmanship they put into the place is absolutely amazing. This is a haunted house I always will jump or scream at. I've probably been to over 300 haunts in the past 10 years.
Have been going since 2018 and every time I go I still get scared. Not-So-Scary Haunted Houses (Kid Friendly).
